We live in Bloxham, a pretty village in central England. Our house was built in 1973, and is a mixture of modern and traditional.
It sleeps six people comfortably, but we also have a Sofabed. We have a living room/dining room with wooden floors that we
furnished last year. It has a wood-burning stove, piano, and satellite TV. At the end of this room there is a conservatory
(also added last year) which provides a comfortable place to sit in the summer. We have a modern kitchen with all normal appliances,
including a dishwasher. Downstairs there is also a family room with a TV and Sofabed. There is also a shower room.
Upstairs there are four Bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, 2 singles) all of which are very comfortable. There is also a bathroom
with power shower.
Outside we have an enclosed garden with a big trampoline, gas BBQ and seating.
Guests will also have use of our bicycles
The nearest town to Bloxham is the Market town of Banbury, five minutes to the north, where there are many shops. The
town has all of the transport links needed, with a train station (trains direct to Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Edinburgh,
Durham, Oxford, Winchester, London)and a bus station (National Express). There is also a tourist information centre there

A wonderful weekend out
We have spent many weekends as a family in the beautiful lake district, which is great for hiking and discovering nature.
The walking here is not too strenuous, with well-marked footpaths. In many villages you will find little pubs with their own
breweries awaiting your visit.
