Here's a brief description of our family

Catherine teaches deaf children in our area, Oxfordshire. She has to travel a lot with work, so is very used to travelling long distances. Her main hobby is singing, which she does in many choirs and as a soloist.

Julian is also a teacher, being head of mathematics at the private school (Bloxham School) in our village. When not working, he enjoys playing a round of golf at the local course, and a bit of music on the side.

Alex (17) has recently changed schools for the sixth form, and is hoping to study music at a Musikhochschule and then going on to study the organ in England. During the family's House Exchange he will be inter-railng around Europe, but hope's to pop in on the family at some point!

James (16) is at the school where his dad teaches. He's also in terested in music, and plays the drums. He has recently discovered YouTube, and likes download videos of strange bands.

Harriet (13) is also at the school where dad teaches. She is very interested in art and reading, and sings a bit too.

We also have a dog (Rolo, 4) who will not be at our house during the exchange, but will be staying with his family in the north! He's a lovely quiet little dog, and during the exchange we will make sure there's no trace of him!

The family themselves love Hiking in the hills, particularly in the Lake District of Northern England. We would love to exchange to a mountainous/hilly region of Europe.
